Box Score WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Penn College women's volleyball team earned its first victory of the season by sweeping Penn State Wilkes-Barre, 3-0, on Tuesday night. The Wildcats earned the 25-17, 25-16, 25-18, straight-set victory to improve their record to 1-4 while the Lions sit at 0-1.
How it happened: Penn College did not allow more than 20 points in a set against the Lions as
Marianna Dariychuk's offense shined with 18 attacks, six kills, and three aces in the match.
Inside the box: Coryn Oswald led the squad with eight kills and
Lauren Hergert tied Dariychuk with six.
Cheyenne Stein dished out 19 assists and the Cats tallied up 13 total aces in the win.
