WINCHESTER, Va. — Penn College men's soccer played to a 1-1 draw in the Wildcats first game of the Shenandoah Tournament on Friday. The Wildcats move their record to 1-1-1 and the Knights are 0-2-1.
How it happened: Penn College quickly struck first, just eight seconds into the match when
Logan Stapleton buried the opening goal on an assist off the foot of
Hunter Gabloff.
The Knights were able to find the equalizer in the 74th minute.
Inside the box: Penn College placed three of its seven shots on frame in the match while the Knights recorded 12 shots and five coming on frame.
Justin Potts earned four saves in the draw.
