WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Penn College dropped a 3-0 decision to Penn State Abington in a United East women's volleyball contest on Tuesday evening inside Bardo Gym. The Wildcats fell to 1-8 in conference matches, 3-23 overall, while the Nittany Lions improved to 5-3 UE, 19-5.
How it happened: Abington won by set scores of 25-8, 25-19 and 25-16.
Inside the box: Jo Hess eclipsed the 200 assist mark after posting 14 in the match to give her 201 on the season while
Nevaeh Ward led the offense with nine kills and
Ava Harple finished with five kills and a team-best 16 digs.
Laney Wolfe joined Harple with double-digit digs (12) and
Hailey DeBrody finished with 3.5 blocks.
Abington was led by Zayna Jamaladdin who finished with 15 kills, two aces and a block assist.
