ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn College's women's tennis team lost a nonconference match at Penn State Altoona on Friday, 6-1, as its record fell to 0-4. PS Altoona improved to 7-5.
How it happened: Penn State Altoona won five singles and all three doubles matches.
Inside the box: Faith Murray, at No. 3 singles, picked up the lone Penn College win, 6-1, 6-4. In a competitive doubles match, Emlyn Kinley-Kayla Weinzierl lost at No. 2, 6-4.
Up next: Penn College closes out its fall season hosting Juniata College in women's and men's competition at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Central Pennsylvania Tennis Center.
