WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Penn College women's tennis team closed out its fall season on Tuesday with a 7-0 loss to crosstown rival Lycoming College. The Wildcats dropped to 0-5 and Lycoming improved to 7-2.
How it happened: Lycoming won all six singles and all three doubles matches.
Inside the box: In the most competitive matches for the Wildcats, Faith Murray lost at No. 3 singles, 4-6, 3-6, and Gwynn Johnson lost at No. 6 singles, 2-6, 4-6. Murray was 4-1 in singles for the fall.
Up next: Penn College's men wrap up their fall season at Juniata College at 5 p.m. on Friday. The women are finished until the spring season.
