WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Penn College had three wrestlers podium at the 91st Wilkes Open on Friday with two fourth-place and one fifth-place finish.
The Wilkes Open features wrestlers from NCAA Division I, II and III teams as well as others from club teams and unattached wrestlers representing more than 20 schools.
How it happened: Placing fourth for the Wildcats were
Isaac McGregor (141) and
Travis Green (174), while
Carter Davis (165) ended fifth.
McGregor ended 2-2 with wins by major decision, fall and a losses by major decision and technical fall in his last bout; Green was 2-2 with two falls and losses by technical fall and a pin; and Davis was 4-1 with three wins by technical fall and a decision, and a loss by technical fall as he reached the five-bout maximum for the day before his match for fifth place.

Justin Adams went 2-2 at 125,
Blake Dergham went 2-2 at 133,
TJ Martin went 2-2 at 149,
Isaac Cory went 2-2 at 184,
Luke Heimbach went 1-2 at 125,

Ryan Trimber went 1-2 at 141,
Cavin Napoletano went 1-2 at 157,

Noah Hunt went 0-1 at 149 with a medical forfeit,
Josh Howard went 0-2 at 165,

Aiden Osborne went 0-2 at 184.
