Penn College competes at The Future Made by Hand 200

The Collegiate iRacing League (CiL) is a student run series that competes in NASCAR Cup, Formula F4, and Prototype cars on the iRacing Simulation platform. Penn College has been competing in this series for three years and had three current students and two alumni who compete weekly in the three different series.

On Tuesday, "The Future Made by Hand 200" at Pocono Raceway was an 80-lap race at the tricky triangle. Penn College drivers were in the top 20 most of the race until getting collected in some late race wrecks. Austin DeLong and Zack Tallman were able to recover to finish 21st and 23rd and Michael Sydor III finished 29th two laps down. Our alumni Mark Turek finished 26th and Dylan Godinez 27th , both one lap down.

The next CiL NASCAR Cup race is Feb. 12 8:30pm at the virtual Charlotte Roval.
