BRYN MAWR, Pa. – Penn College won its fifth straight game with an 18-4 victory against Rosemont College in a United East men's lacrosse contest Saturday. The Wildcats improved to 2-0 United East, 7-5 overall, while the Ravens fell to 0-2, 1-8.
How it happened: Penn College took an 8-0 lead after the first quarter and led 13-0 at halftime. Penn College outscored Rosemont, 4-2, in the third, while the Ravens edged PCT in the fourth, 2-1.
Inside the box:
Jake Small led all scorers with four for PCT,
Aidan McFalls added three, and
Harrison Schlachta finished with two. McFalls posted a game-best three assists.
Penn College won 17 of 26 faceoffs and was 11 of 12 on clear attempts.
Alex Hammond picked up the win between the pipes with nine saves.
