WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Penn College dropped a 3-0 decision to Penn State Mont Alto Saturday morning in a nonconference women's volleyball match. The Wildcats wrapped up the Lycoming Tip-Off Classic with a 0-3 record while the Lions are 1-0.
How it happened: The Lions posted a .337 hitting percentage while holding the Wildcats to .011 to sweep the match in three sets by scores of 25-17, 25-9, 25-7.Â
Inside the box: Jo Hess reached double digit digs as she plucked 13 from the floor and
Kathryn Burnett dished out 14 assists. Nevah Ward,
Lana Howard and
Jade Williams each had one ace and
Hailey DeBrody led the attack with three kills.
