WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Penn College fell in three sets to Penn State Altoona in a nonconference volleyball match. The Wildcats drop to 2-9 overall and the Lady Lions are 7-6.
How it happened: Penn State Altoona led wire-to-wire and earned set wins of 25-14, 25-21 and 15-14 for the win.
Inside the box: Nevaeh Ward continues to lead the Penn College attack in her freshman campaign with a team-leading six kills,
Ava Harple and
Lana Howard both pitched in with three kills. Howard posted a team-high .375 hitting percentage and Kathrn Burnett dished out 12 assists.
Hannah Thompson and Ella Hadley led Penn State Altoona with seven kills each.
