SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Penn College's women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 nonconference home decision against first-time opponent Kean University on Friday night. Penn College now is 0-3 and Kean is 1-0.

How it happened: Kean won four of six singles matches and two of three doubles matches for its victory. 

Winning for the Wildcats were Ellen Buckley at No. 1 singles, 6-3, 3-6, 9-7, and Kayla Weinzierl at No. 3 singles, 6-2, 7-5. Penn College's doubles win came at No. 1 where Buckley-Emilyn Kinley posted a 6-1 win.

Up next: Penn College's men are at King's College at noon on Sunday and its women are at Penn State Altoona at 4 p.m. on Friday.
