WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Penn College's men's tennis team was edged 4-3 by King's College in nonconference play on Sunday. The Wildcats now are 1-2 and King's is 1-0.
How it happened: King's won four singles matches for its team victory while Penn College captured two singles matches and two of three doubles matches for its three team points.
Singles winners for the Wildcats were Logan Ogden at No. 4, 6-2, 6-0, and Seth Priestman at No. 5, 6-4, 7-5. In doubles, Priestman-Matt Williams won at No. 2, 7-5, and Ogden-Jayden Manbeck won at No. 3, 6-4.
Up next: Penn College's men host Juniata College at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Central PA Tennis Center.
