WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Penn College continued its regular season unbeaten treak to 36-straight games with a 4-0 victory against Notre Dame (Md.) Saturday afternoon at UPMC Field. The Wildcats moved to 3-0-0 in the United East, 10-0-2 overall. The Gators fell to 1-2-0, 2-7-0.
How it happened:
Sara Darlington netted her second consecutive hat-trick with a pair of first-half goals in the 21st minute and 26th minute while
Sierra Klinger found the senior forward on both goals.
Brooke Klinger scored in the 23rd minute as the Wildcats held a 3-0 lead at the half.Â
Ashley Gordon fed Darlington for her third goal of the afternoon in the 71st minute to cap the scoring.
Inside the box:
Sierra Klinger and Gordon both dished out two assists. The Wildcats outshot the Gators, 34-5 and placed 17 shots on-goal.
Morgan Solano improved to 2-0 on the season with three saves in the victory.
