WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Penn College fell, 89-78, to Lebanon Valley Friday evening inside Bardo Gym. The Wildcats fall to 0-6, while the Dutchmen move to 2-2.
How it happened: Lebanon Valley led from the jump and pulled out to a 12-2 lead in the first five minutes.
Kendall Bratten scored the lone basket on an assist from
Kris Hayes on the Wildcats first possession of the night. LVC pulled ahead for a 44-39 lead at the break.Â
In the second, the Wildcats gained ground to get within nine, 83-74, on a 3-pointer from
Owen Newcomer with 3:02 on the clock, but it was the closest the Wildcats would get in the final minutes.
Inside the box: Landon Reeder led the Wildcats with 17 points and eight rebounds.
Octavio Alexander scored a season-high 11 points and
Colby Bost added 10. PCT shot 44% (24-54) and won the rebounding battle 31-29.Â
LVC had three players score 18 points each.
