READING, Pa. – Penn College handled Penn State Berks, 84-42, in a nonconference women's basketball game Tuesday. The Wildcats improved to 7-1, while the Nittany Lions fell to 1-7.
How it happened: Penn College jumped out to a 25-12 first quarter lead and a 47-22 advantage at the break. The Wildcats outscored Berks, 24-10, in the third and 13-10 in the fourth.
Inside the box:
Gigi Parlante notched her third double-double this season with a game-high 29 points and a game-best 11 rebounds.
Breana Valentine added 18 points, eight rebounds, and five assists, while
Kenni Galbreath finished with 12 points and
Mia Patterson contributed 10.
