In game one,
Penn College exploded for six runs in the sixth, five in the fourth, one in the fifth, and seven in the sixth. Dallas Griess paced the offense with five hits, including a triple, and five RBI. Ethan Stahl, Levi Purnell, and Jaydon Goebel, who smacked a double and a triple, each totaled three hits for PCT, while Shawn Townsend finished with a pair of hits, including an inside-the-park homer.

Griffin Vollman improved to 2-1 after five innings of work. He allowed one earned, on four hits, with four strikeouts, and two walks.

In game two,
After Nathan Gustkey doubled in a run in the first inning, the Nittany Lions brought home five in the top of the second inning to take a 5-1 lead. Stahl's single in the second made it 5-2, while RBIs from Townsend, Matt Munoz, Brandon Shane, and John Croasdale accounted for the runs in the third.

After Penn State tied the game in the game in the fourth, Stahl brought home the eventual game-winner in the seventh.
