WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College dealt Neumann a 21-6 setback in a nonconference men's lacrosse game Saturday. The Wildcats improved to 8-3, while the Knights fell to 3-8.
How it happened: Penn College led 6-1 after the first quarter and 13-2 at halftime. The Wildcats outscored Neumann, 4-3, in the third quarter and 4-1 in the fourth.
Inside the box: A.J. Dotson paced the offense with six points, on three goals and three assists.
Owen Kupsey netted four shots for PCT, while
Harrison Schlachta,
Roman DeCenzo and
Will Ehret each scored a pair, and Elliott Dotson finished with a game-high six assists.
The Wildcats won 20 of 31 faceoffs, cleared 16 of 21 attempts, while forcing the Knights to 13 of 35 on clears.
Ryan Twist (five saves) picked up the win in goal, while Makuch Fisher (3 saves), and
Alex Hammond (1 save) split time in the second half.
