READING, Pa. — Penn College's fifth-seeded men's tennis team saw its season end on Sunday in a United East quarterfinal match at fourth-seeded Penn State Berks, 4-1. Penn College finished 3-4 in all UE matches and 4-10 overall. Berks advances to the semifinals with an 8-5 overall record.
How it happened: Berks won three singles matches and two of three doubles matches.
Inside the box: Winning in singles for Penn College was Will Long at No. 6, 6-3, 6-2. Winning in doubles for the Wildcats was the team of Kyle Shuler-Logan Ogden at No. 2, 6-2.
