LATHAM, N.Y. – Penn College was recognized for its academic excellence with 96 student-athletes selected as United East Winter/Spring Scholar-Athletes. Those 96 student-athletes combined with the 57 selections in the fall, and the 25 wrestlers selected to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference scholar-athlete team, gave the Wildcats a department-record 178 scholar-athletes for the 2024-25 academic year.
Penn College finished fourth in the 17-school conference for the spring semester. In order to be selected, a student-athlete competing in a fall conference-sponsored sport must achieve a grade point average of 3.2 or higher for the spring semester.
