WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College opened the 2025 season with a 3-0 shutout against Centenary in a nonconference men's soccer match Friday at UPMC Field. The Wildcats improved to 1-0, while the Cyclones fell to 0-1.
How it happened: Penn College struck in the 11
th minute when
Cooper Smith's corner found
Robert Antonini's head for a 1-0 advantage. The Wildcats made it 2-0 in the 24
th when
Justin Boring's set piece service connected with Joshua Huday. Just over a minute later, Hudak hooked up with
Garrett Gill to make it 3-0 in the 25
th minute.
Inside the box: Penn College outshot Centenary, 18-7 (8-1 on target), and held a 6-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Justin Crismale turned away one shot in goal to pick up the win.
