Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Antonini’s strike lifts Wildcats

BRADFORD, Pa. – Penn College snapped a two-match skid with a 1-0 win over Pitt-Bradford in a nonconference men's soccer match Tuesday. The Wildcats improved to 4-3, while the Panthers fell to 3-3-1.

How it happened: Following a scoreless first half, Robert Antonini finished Cooper Smith's pass in the 58th minute to give PCT its only score it would need. The Wildcats sent five of their six shots on frame in the second half, but three attempts from Garrett Gill, and Logan Berfield's late shot were stopped.

Inside the box: Penn College outshot Bradford, 15-10 (6-4 on-goal) and held a 7-3 advantage in corner kicks. DJ Blankenship earned the win with four stops in the shut out.

Up next: The Wildcats return to action Saturday, 2 p.m., at Ramapo.
