LANGHORNE, Pa. – Penn College tied Cairn University, 1-1, in its United East men's soccer opener Saturday. The Wildcats improved to 0-0-1 UE, 5-3-1 overall, while the Highlander sit at 0-0-1, 1-5-3.
How it happened: Following a scoreless first half, CU struck first in the 58
th minute to take a 1-0 lead.

th to deadlock the match at 1-1. The Wildcats had three shots on goal after the Highlander's score, but attempts from
Silas Miller,
Robert Antonini, and Pietrzak were stopped.
Inside the box: Cairn outshot PCT, 17-9 (5-5 on-goal) and held a 9-0 advantage on corner kicks.
Justin Crismale stopped four shots in goal for the Wildcats.
