KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – Penn College edge Keuka College, 1-0, in a nonconference men's soccer match Saturday. The Wildcats improved to 3-1, while the Wolves fell to 0-2.
How it happened:
Silas Miller broke a scoreless deadlock with an unassisted tally in the 81st minute.
The Wildcats sent two balls on frame in the first half, but both attempts from
Diego Diaz were stopped.
Jimmy Friedman put a pair of shots on goal in the second half, but both were turned away.
Inside the box: Penn College outshot Keuka, 7-3 (6-2 on-goal) and held a 9-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Justin Crismale stopped two shots in goal for the Wildcats to earn the victory.
