LA PLUME, Pa. – The Penn College women's basketball team handled Keystone, 75-37, in a United East matchup Wednesday evening. The win snapped a four-game losing streak for the Wildcats and improved their record to 2-1 in the conference, 10-5 overall. The Giants fell to 2-2 UEC, 3-12 overall.

Gigi Parlante got the action started with a layup on the first possession.
Breana Valentine scored the next four points and
Mia Patterson added a layup to give the Wildcats an 8-2 lead. Keystone would pull within one, 15-14 with 1:22 to go in the opening frame before a pair of Patterson free throws and a
Lexi Troup bucket gave the Wildcats a 19-14 lead after one.
The Wildcats smothered the Giants in the middle quarters, limiting Keystone to just eight points in the second quarter and three in the third, while scoring 37 points on the other end to hold a 56-25 advantage heading into the fourth quarter.
Inside the box: Parlante secured her seventh double-double of the season with a game-high 27 points and 10 rebounds. Valentine filled her statline with eight points, nine rebounds, a season-high nine assists and six steals. Patterson (13) and
Kayla Herzer (14) combined for 27 points as the bigs contributed to the Wildcats' 44 points in the paint.
Penn College finished the night shooting 45% (29-64) and limited the Giants to just 26% (13-51).
