WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Penn College lost to Moravian, 3-1, in nonconference women's soccer action on Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats finished with eight shots, four on goal, while Moravian put seven of its nine shots on frame. PCT fell to 4-2-0 overall. Moravian is 3-1-2 overall.
How it happened: Camryn Lobb put the Wildcats in front 1-0 in the sixth minute, finishing
Ella Garman's assist at 5:55. Moravian tied it at 16:56 and went ahead 2-1 at 32:05, while
Harley Oliphant made three saves in the half. PCT had late chances from Garman and
Lily Persing, but the half ended with Moravian leading 2-1.
The Wildcats created four second-half shots, including saved attempts by Lobb in the 47th minute and Persing in the 73rd, but could not cut into the deficit. Moravian scored the half's only goal at 48:34, as Lilyanna Potts finished Delaney Rowe's assist to move the score to 3-1. PCT also earned corners from
Makayla Bucks and Garman, and Moravian held that 3-1 margin to the final whistle.
Inside the box: Lobb scored the Wildcats' lone goal and led the team with three shots, including two on goal. Garman recorded the assist and put one shot on target. Goalkeeper
Harley Oliphant finished with four saves in 90 minutes.
Ava Hull scored on her only shot and recorded the game-winning goal for Moravian. Delaney Rowe finished with two assists. Shea Casey scored on her lone shot on goal. Lilyanna Potts also converted her only shot on goal.
