Jeffrey Tomb joins Penn College softball as the assistant under head coach Roger Harris for the 2014 season.  Tomb brings a strong coaching background with a lot of connections to area softball programs.

Tomb, a native of Jersey Shore, has served as an assistant for the Jersey Shore High School varsity softball team from since 2010.  During that time, he also assisted the middle school program in the district.

Tomb has been coaching local travel softball teams since 1997 with a 15 year streak of qualifying for the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) national tournament.  In 2010, his team won the National Softball Association (NSA) National Championships, Silver Division.

In addition, Tomb has also managed men’s fastpitch leagues in the area.  He resides in Jersey Shore with his family.
