Adrienne Wydra-Curry was named the head cross country coach in March 2026. She has been a part of the Wildcats' women's basketball team as an assistant coach since the 2024-25 season.Â
No stranger to PCT Athletics and the Williamsport community, Wydra-Curry graduated from Lycoming College with a B.A. in History in 2002 where she was a multi-sport athlete on the women's basketball, softball and track and field teams. She earned multiple all-conference honors, an NCAA Division III Championship appearance and an induction into the Lycoming Athletics Hall of Fame in 2019.Â
After graduation, Wydra-Curry began her coaching career with the Warriors as the Head Cross Country Coach for eight seasons (2002-2009), the leader of the Warriors' track and field program from 2002-04, and a five-year stint as the assistant women's basketball coach from 2004-09.
Alongside Wydra-Curry's professional teaching career, she had coaching stops as the assistant women's basketball coach at Cabrini College (2009-10), the head basketball and soccer coach at Wicominco Day School in Salisbury, Maryland (2017-18) and the head girls basketball coach at Lake Highlands Middle School in Lakeland, Florida from 2019-20 before returning to the Williamsport area in 2022 for her second stints as the assistant women's basketball coach for the Warriors (2022-24) and the Wildcats (2024-present). Wydra-Curry helped the Wildcats to a program-best 20-6 record and a trip to the United East Semifinals this past season.Â
Wydra-Curry will remain on the women's basketball staff and is excited to also be leading the Penn College Cross Country programs featuring the men's team that has finish top-3 in the in the United East and two team championships in the past four seasons while the women placed sixth, fourth and fifth at the conference meet in the past three seasons.Â
