Matlack joined the Penn College staff in 2017 as an assistant coach and was named the Head Coach in 2018.
She guided the Wildcats to the North Eastern Athletic Conference semifinals in her first season at the helm.
A former standout at Bucknell University where she graduated in the spring of 2011, Matlack spent the three seasons as the Head Women’s Soccer Coach at South Williamsport HS, prior to that she was an assistant at the University of Scranton (2013-2014) and a graduate assistant at Clarion University (2011-2013), an NCAA Division II institution in Clarion, Pa. While there, she assisted in player skill development and team tactics, as well as assisting in numerous organizational duties.
During her four seasons at Bucknell, Matlack was one of the top players in the Patriot League, earning first-team honors in 2008, 2009 and 2010. She was twice named the league’s Offensive Player of the Year (2009, 2010) and was chosen as a National Soccer Coaches Association of America Scholar All-American twice (2009, third team; 2010, second team).
Matlack graduated as one of the top scorers in Bucknell women’s soccer history, ranking fifth in goals with 32, fifth in points with 78 and seventh in assists with 14. She helped the Bison reach the Patriot League playoffs in each of her four seasons. In the spring of 2011, she was presented with the Christy Mathewson Award, which is presented annually at Bucknell to the outstanding male and female senior athletes.In 2015, Matlack was selected as a member of the Patriot League 25th Anniversary Team, joining a prestigious group of 25 of the league’s top Women’s Soccer players.
Matlack serves as a coach with a local futsal club, Ginga Warriors, and she has also worked soccer camps for Bucknell and Penn State.
Matlack holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology with minors in Philosophy and Studio Art from Bucknell and a Master of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Clarion University.
Outside of coaching at Penn College, Matlack resides in Williamsport, PA with her cat, Skye.
