Kyle Hawk has been named the sixth head coach of the Penn College volleyball program in February 2024.

In his first season, the Wildcats posted a 3-24 overall record and finished 1-9 in United East matches. Penn College secured its first conference win in 10 seasons with a 3-1 victory at Rosemont. Hawk helped freshman Nevaeh Ward post the fourth-best single-season mark with 194 kills and 250 total points and finished with the sixth most service aces (44) while senior Hailey DeBrody capped her career with the fourth-most blocks (34) in a single-season. DeBrody and fellow senior Jo Hess also earned selections to the CSC Academic All-District Team while maintaining above a 3.50 GPA through the season.

Before leading the Wildcats, Hawk previously spent three years as the volunteer assistant coach for the Bloomsburg University volleyball program where he assisted with the day-to-day operations, practice plans and recruiting. Hawk helped lead the Huskies to an appearance in the PSAC Championship Quarterfinals in just the program's fourth year of varsity competition.

Hawk started his coaching career as a volunteer assistant at Virginia State University from 2015-16 and a Wisetown Volleyball Club coach for the 17U and 18U girls teams in Berwick, Pa., from 2021-22.
