Men’s Soccer: Daku Scores Game Winner in 2-0 Win Against Moravian

Box Score BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Freshman Jared Daku (Danville) scored the game winner in the 19th to help the Pennsylvania College of Technology men's soccer team defeat Moravian College 2-0 in non-conference play Tuesday.  Junior keeper Hector Guerrero (Mexico City, Mexico) recorded the shutout with eight saves while senior Jacob Tuck (Hollsopple) scored the second goal for the Wildcats.  With the win, the team improves to 7-7-1 overall.
 
Moravian (4-8-2) totaled 23 shots in the game but only had eight on goal while the Wildcats totaled eight shots with six on. 
 
Daku made the game 1-0 in the first taking a pass from junior Tarik LaRoche (Milton) and sending it to the lower left corner.  After halftime, Tuck sealed the victory in the 56th netting the ball in the upper left corner from the top of the 18.
 
Next up, Penn College hosts Bryn Athyn College on Saturday, Oct. 18 for a 1 p.m. match.
