WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - King's College earned bonus point in four of eight competed contest to knock off Penn College 40-10 in a non-conference wrestling meet Thursday. The Monarchs improved to 2-5, while the Wildcats dropped to 1-7.

Evened 3-3 after the second at 125, King's Jake Daniel secured a takedown in the third against Aaron Doll before picking up the fall in 5:29. Matt Sparks followed with a forfeit for the Monarchs to give them a 12-0 lead.

Penn College's Jake Stanford used an escape against Kevin Kelly late in the second period at 141 to tie the match at 6-6. Kelly's single for a takedown, and three backs points late in the third, gave Kelly an 11-6 win and put King's ahead 15-0.

Slade Storm built a 14-2 lead over David White at 149 midway into the second period. White prevented a possible tech fall with a reversal and three back points to make it 15-8 after two. Storm recomposed himself in the third with an escape and two take downs to earn a 22-11 major decision and put Penn College on the board, 15-4.

After PC's Troy Leid opened the second period with an escape against Howard Kilpatrick to even the match at 2-2, Kilpatrick answered with a takedown with 40 seconds left in the period to lead 4-2, and eventually won a 6-3 decision to give the Monarchs an 18-4 advantage.

King's Matt Lukachinsky erased a 10-1 deficit in the second at 165 with a reversal of Tony King, which led to a headlock and pin in 4:03 to put the Monarchs ahead 24-4.

Daniel Frankenfield gave the Wildcats six points at 174 after a dominating opening minute gave him a 12-0 lead, which later led to a fall in 1:59 against Ryan Carden.

King's picked up a forfeit at 184 and a major decision from Ryan Logenberger, 14-4, against Connor Route at 197 to lead 34-10 before Brad Lucas' fall in 2:41 over Brandon Stover at heavyweight ended the meet.

Penn College senior Kyle Sunseri ended his four-year home meet career with a pin against Ryan Carden in 1:49 in an exhibition contest.
