Box Score

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Freshman Marquis Delgado (Mansfield) scored 14 points to lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology in its 63-54 loss to Penn State Fayette. Penn College was outscored 41-23 in the first half, but came back strong in the second scoring 31 points and bringing the game to within two with just three minutes remaining. Missed shots proved the deciding factor in the victory for the Lions. Also for the Wildcats, freshman Thomas Ross (Williamsport) recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards. The loss now drops the team to 1-10 overall and 1-3 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

Fayette (4-8, 3-2 PSUAC) opened the game with an 8-0 run before the Wildcats countered with five straight points including a three from sophomore Nathaniel Brown (Philadelphia), making it 5-8 at 16:59.

It was all Lions from that point on as Penn College struggled with shooting going only 10-32 (.313) in the half. Fayette ended the period with an 8-0 run to go up into the break with the 18 point advantage.

In the half, Fayette scored 22 points off of Wildcat turnovers.

For the game, the Wildcats totaled 61 rebounds to Fayette's 37 with Adams and freshman Laquinn Thompson (York) each adding nine.
