CAZENOVIA, N.Y. -
Robyn Beddow scored her second career hat trick for Penn College in a 5-1 win over Cazenovia in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's soccer match Sunday. Penn College improved to 5-5-2 overall and remained unbeaten in the NEAC at 5-0-1, while Cazenovia fell to 4-5-1, 2-4.
Beddow struck first in the 20
th minute after a pass from
Jane Herman to give Penn College a 1-0 lead. She netted her second goal of the game in the 29
th minute on an unassisted tally which gave PCT a 2-0 lead at halftime. Penn College finished the half with seven shots -- five on goal -- with a pair of shots from Beddow ending in the goalie's hands, while one by
Breanna Cline was also saved.
Beddow netted her third score of the game, and sixth of the season, in the 51
st minute after a feed by
Hailee Hartman to give Penn College a 3-0 advantage. Cazenovia went on the board in the 71
st minute on Brianna Bailey's score.

nd minute to give PCT a 4-1 lead before Hartman sent a pass to
Kyra Shea, who deposited the ball in the back of the net to put Penn College ahead 5-1 in the 86
th minute.
Hailey Heistand stopped five shots in goal for Penn College, while Kara Locey turned away eight shots.
Penn College finished the match with a 19-9 advantage in shots, while Cazenovia held an 8-3 edge in corner kicks.
Penn College returns to action Saturday, 3 p.m., at Keuka College.
