WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - King's College collected five pins en route to a 45-9 win over Penn College in a non-conference wrestling match Thursday. King's improved to 2-3, while the Wildcats dropped to 1-3.
King's built a 30-0 lead after four straight pins and forfeit through 157 pounds.
Tanner Leid put the Wildcats on the board with a 3-2 decision at 165 and
Daniel Frankenfield picked up a forfeit at 174 to make it 30-9. King's finished the match with a forfeit at 184, a decision at 197 and a fall at 285.
Penn College returns to action Saturday at the Nittany Lion Open at Penn State.
