ABINGTON, Pa. – Penn College dropped a 94-75 decision to Penn State Abington in a North Eastern Athletic Conference men's basketball game Friday. The Lions improved to 8-10 NEAC, 9-16, while the Wildcats fell to 2-15, 3-21.
Joseph Mangiero paced Penn College with 12 points and
Stephen Alford added 10.
Penn State Abington featured five players in double figures, led by Max Alton's game-high 23 points.
Abington led wire-to-wire and maintained a double-digit for the majority of the game. The Lions shot 59% in the first half and held Penn College to 37% shooting from the floor and led 48-26 at halftime. The Wildcats outscored the Lions in the second half, 49-46, and shot 54%, while holding Abington to 38% shooting.
Penn College concludes its season Saturday, 10 a.m., at Bryn Athyn.
