WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Cazenovia dealt Penn College an 80-61 defeat in a North Eastern Athletic Conference men's basketball game Sunday. Cazenovia improved to 9-11, 7-5 NEAC, while Penn College fell to 3-17, 2-11.

Antony Griffin finished with 11.
James Boylan was honored prior to the game for Senior Day and finished with six points, three rebounds and four blocks.
Ryan Gavin netted a game-high 24 points for Cazenovia.
After three ties in the opening five minutes of the game, Cazenovia took a 16-11 lead with 13:26 on the clock before Penn College rallied to take a one point lead, 19-18, on a
Nathaniel Brown layup with 12:02 left in the opening half. Following the fifth deadlock of the half, 24-24, with 9:24 to go before halftime, Penn College used a three from Brown and a layup by Boylan to lead 29-24 a minute later. Cazenovia exploded on an 18-2 scoring run, spanning six minutes, and took a 42-31 lead with 2:16 left in the first before leading 42-26 at halftime.
Penn College pulled within three early the second half, the latter coming on a Boylan layup with 14:58 left in the game to make it 46-43. Cazenovia answered with 12 straight points to lead 58-43 with 11:52 on the clock. Cazenovia led by as many 29 the remainder of the game and its lead never dipped below 15.
Penn College returns to action Saturday, 2 p.m. at Wells College.
