WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – In its inaugural season in the North Eastern Athletic Conference, Penn College's tennis teams will be well-represented at this week's NEAC Tournament, Tuesday-Sunday at Birchwood Tennis Club in Clarks Summit, Pa.
The men's team is seeded No. 3 and will play No. 2 Penn State Berks Wednesday at 6 p.m. The Wildcats finished 3-2 in the NEAC.
Four individuals on the men's team reached the NEAC tournament.
Jordan Rodgers (3-2) is the No. 3 seed in No. 1 singles. Ben Leibig (4-1) is seeded second in No. 2 singles, Chris Morrin (3-2) in third in No. 3 singles and
Seth Strickland (2-3) is fourth in No. 4 singles. The individual tournament begins Friday at 10 a.m.
Rodgers and Morrin (3-2) seeded No. 3 in No.1 doubles and Leibig and Strickland (3-2) are third in No. 2 doubles. The doubles competition begins Thursday at 2 p.m.
Melissa Stabley (6-1) is the No. 1 seed in No. 1 singles on the women's side. She begins play Sunday at 10 a.m. Stabley and
Morgan Blackwell (4-2) are the No. 4 seed in No. 1 doubles. They play Saturday at 2 p.m.
