WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Penn College dropped a pair of non-conference women's volleyball matches Friday evening in a tri-meet hosted by King's College. The Wildcats fell to King's 3-0 before losing 3-1 to Penn State-Abington. Penn College fell to 0-3 this seasons.

In Game One,
King's won 25-17, 25-12 and 25-8. Keri Fargus and Julia Kocher each recorded four kills for the Wildcats, Kaitlyn Young and Sophie Coldsmith both had two aces, Tara Glenny picked up two blocks and Coldsmith finished with 12 digs.

Penn College held a 5-2 advantage in blocks, while King's held the edge in every other category.

In Game Two,
Abington won the first set 25-13, Penn College took the second 26-24 before the Lions won the final two 25-16 and 25-17.

Felicia Webber picked up 11 kills for the Wildcats, Tayla Clark finished with three aces, Coldsmith a seven assists and Young recorded 19 digs.
Penn College held a 65-58 advantage in digs, while Abington topped the remaining categories.

Penn College returns to action Saturday against Lycoming College, Wilkes University and Summitt University in a quad meet hosted by Summitt.
