ABINGTON, Pa. – Penn State Abington handed Penn College a 96-56 loss in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's basketball game Wednesday. The Wildcats fell to 3-6 overall, 3-4 NEAC, while the Nittany Lions improved to 7-2, 3-2.
Alicia Ross scored a team-high 20 points for Penn College, and grabbed a team-best 11 rebounds.
Marissa Keegan scored a career-high 12 points and
Danielle Mowery finished with 12 for the Wildcats.
Sayna Rodriguez scored a game-high 27 points for Abington, while five other players also reached double-digits in scoring for the Lions.
Abington led 33-13 after the first quarter and took a 58-23 advantage into the break.
Penn College returns to the court Saturday, 1 p.m., at College of Saint Elizabeth.
