WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Lancaster Bible knocked off Penn College79-52 in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's basketball game Thursday. The Chargers improved to 5-2 overall, 3-0 NEAC, while the Wildcats fell to 2-4, 2-2.
Alicia Ross led Penn College with 16 points,
Niesha Williams netted a career-high 15 points and
Ebani Lewis recorded her second straight double-double with 10 points and a game-high 15 rebounds.
Four players recorded double figures for the Chargers, paced by Katy Stover's game-high 23 points. Aubrey Folger netted 18, while Shanice Smith and Krissy Pennell both scored 12. Smith also grabbed a team-best 14 rebounds.
Lancaster Bible led 38-18 at halftime, before exploding for 25 in the third quarter. Penn College outscored LBC 20-16 in the fourth quarter.
The Wildcats return to action Saturday, 2 p.m., at Gallaudet.
