WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College shutout Morrisville 4-0 in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's soccer match Sunday. The Wildcats stayed perfect in the NEAC at 6-0, 7-4-1 overall, while the Mustangs fell to 1-5, 2-6-1.
Tiffany Brown made it 1-0 early in the contest when she netted a pass from
Alexis Trkula.
Hailee Hartman put the Wildcats ahead 2-0 in the 16
th minute after she scored in her fifth straight contest on a pass from Trkula.
Morgan Brooks added to the scoring in the 27
th minute when she finished off a pass from
Sarah Kumher.
The Wildcats added their final score in the 55
th minute when Brown scored her second goal after depositing a pass from
Jane Herman.
Penn College outshot Morrisville 14-6 and held a 7-4 edge in corner kicks.
Colleen Bowes pitched her fifth shutout this season with five saves, while Brianna Sorriento stopped four shots.
Penn College returns to action Saturday, 12 p.m., at Wells College.
