WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn State Berks shutout Penn College 4-0 in a North Eastern Athletic Conference men's soccer match Sunday. The Wildcats fell to 3-15 overall, 2-10 NEAC, while the Lions improved to 8-9, 9-4.
Berks struck twice in the first half when T.J. Yurkovic netted a shot in the 17
th minute and Trent Moyer put one in in the 29
th minute. Cole Mays made it 3-0 in the 83
rd minute and Robert Ekvail netted the final score for Berks in the 87
th minute.
The Lions outshot Penn College 21-5 and held a 12-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Hunter Gosnell stopped six shots in goal for the Wildcats, while Gerardo Sosa picked up two stops for Berks.
Penn College returns to action Thursday, 7 p.m., at Delaware Valley.
