WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Wells College dealt Penn College an 85-59 setback in a North Eastern Athletic Conference men's basketball game Saturday. The Express improved to 9-12 overall, 7-7 NEAC, while the Wildcats dropped to 3-17, 3-11.
Thomas Ross led Penn College with 22 points and nine rebounds.
Kevin Laurence-El finished with 18 points for the Wildcats.
Chris Courtney scored a game-high 26 points for Wells, Rich Ross added 16 and Vaughndell Brantley finished with 14. Ross also grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds.
Wells led 48-29 at the break and outscored Penn College 37-30 in the second half.
Penn College returns to action Sunday, 1 p.m., hosting Keuka College.
