WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Keuka College knocked off Penn College 90-72 in a North Eastern Athletic Conference men's basketball game Sunday. The Wolfpack improved to 8-12 overall, 5-9 NEAC, while the Wildcats fell to 3-18, 3-12.
Joseph Mangiero led Penn College with a career-high 19 points.
Kevin Laurence-El finished with 17,
Thomas Ross added 16 and
Landon Muller netted 12 for the Wildcats.
Casey Williams led all scorers with 20 points for Keuka, Cliff Stevens finished 13 and Greg Tyler and Dylan Doupe both scored 10.
Penn College used a 6-0 scoring spurt in the first half – with three points each by Laurence-El and Ross – to take its largest lead, 20-13, with 11:54 left in the opener. The Wolfpack responded with 18-3 run – spanning nearly six minutes, to go ahead 31-23 with 5:08 remaining before the break and led 44-31 at halftime.
Keuka's advantage never dipped below double digits in the second half.
Penn College returns to action Tuesday, 5 p.m., at Lancaster Bible College.
