ELMIRA, N.Y. – Penn College dropped an 11-2 decision to Elmira College in a non-conference baseball game Wednesday. The Wildcats fell to 12-22 this season.
Elmira jumped out to a 5-0 lead after three runs in the second and two in the third.

The Eagles answered with three in each of the seventh and eighth innings.
Cole Hoffman led Penn College with two hits at the plate.
Cody Nelson fell to 3-3 after two innings on the mound. He allowed three runs on four hits and struck out three.
Penn College returns to action Saturday, 1 p.m., at Cazenovia.
