WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College won its second straight match with a 4-0 win over Bryn Athyn in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's soccer game Sunday. The Wildcats improved to 2-1-1 overall, 2-0 NEAC, while the Lions fell to 1-3, 1-2.
Hailee Hartman put Penn College ahead 1-0 early in the contest when she headed in a
Lauren Herr corner kick in the fourth minute.
Jane Herman made it 2-0 in the 28
th minute when she drilled an
Alexis Trkula pass from about 18-yards out.
Herr picked up her second assist in the half with a corner kick that found
Francesca Timpone to put PCT ahead 3-0.
Hanna Williams added the final score in the 59
th minute after Hartman chased down a ball to the right of the net and made a sliding cross pass to a streaking Williams.
Penn College outshot BAC 18-1, and held a 7-0 advantage in corner kicks.
Colleen Bowes picked up one save in goal for the Wildcats, while Alyssa Bosler turned away five shots.
Penn College returns to action Saturday, 12 p.m., against Alfred State at Balls Mills.
