CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Wilson College netted an early overtime goal to hand Penn College a 2-1 setback in a North Eastern Athletic Conference men's soccer match Saturday. The Wildcats fell to 2-5 overall, 1-2 NEAC, while the Phoenix improved to 3-4-1, 2-1-1.
Following a scoreless first half, Penn College got on the board first in the 65
th minute when
Gerry Lua ricocheted a shot from 18-yards out to put the Wildcats ahead 1-0. Ralhan Azim netted the equalizer in the 72
nd minute on penalty and later scored the game-winner in the 91
st minute.
Wilson held an 11-6 advantage in shots, and 13-1 in corner kicks.
Malcolm Kane stopped five shots in goal for PCT, while Dan Perry finished with two stops for Wilson.
Penn College returns to action Sunday, 2 p.m., at Gallaudet.
