Wildcats Blank Wilson; Still Perfect in NEAC

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Penn College cruised to a 5-0 win over Wilson College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's soccer match Saturday. The Wildcats remained perfect in the NEAC at 3-0, and improved to 4-3-1 overall.

Penn College has outscored NEAC opponents 11-0 to date.

After a scoreless first half, the Wildcats exploded for five scores in the second half.

Tiffany Brown found Olivia Murgo in the 50th minute before Hailee Hartman netted back-to-back scores in the 55th and 66th minutes – both shots found the bottom left of the net.

Valerie Kubalak scored unassisted in the 73rd minute and Jane Herman closed out the scoring in the 81st minute when she converted a penalty kick.
Penn College outshot the Phoenix 28-1, and held a 13-0 advantage in corner kicks.

Colleen Bowes earned her third shutout this season without facing a shot on goal, while Brianna Martin was busy with 17 saves.

Penn College returns to action Sunday, 12 p.m., at Gallaudet.
