La Plume, Pa. – Penn College dropped a 3-0 decision to Keystone College in a non-conference men's soccer match Tuesday. The Wildcats fell to 0-3, while the Giants improved to 1-0-1.
Keystone struck early in the first half when Jordan Vance connected on a header in the 14
th minute. The Giants added a goal in the 48
th minute and their final tally in the 79
th minute.
The Wildcats were limited to no shots on goal in the first half before firing three on frame in the second.
Doug Binnie's header was stopped in the 46
th minute,
Roman Cruz' attempt was saved in the 52
nd, and
Randy Vance's shot in the 62
nd minute was stoned by Malcom Moreira.
Keystone held a 24-7 advantage in shots and a 6-2 edge in corner kicks.
Malcolm Kane stopped nine shots in goal for Penn College, while Maoreira finished with three saves.
Penn College returns to action Saturday, 2 p.m., hosting Penn State Abington.
