COBLESKILL, N.Y. – Penn College defeated SUNY Cobleskill 75-62 in a North Eastern Athletic Conference men's basketball game Sunday. The Wildcats improved to 7-12 overall, 5-9 NEAC, while the Tigers fell to 2-15, 2-9.
Erik Eichinger led Penn College with 24 points,
Ben Sosa added 22, and
Erik Perry Jr. and
Thomas Ross both finished with 10 each.
Jesse White grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds for the Wildcats.
Joel Costello led all scorers with 30 points and Malik Chambers finished with 17.
Penn College stormed out to a 12-0 lead after a pair of threes each from Eichinger and Perry Jr. Cobleskill got as close as six in the first half, while the Wildcats led by as many as 17 before leading 39-24 at halftime.
Penn College maintained a double-digit lead the remainder of the second half.
Penn College returns to action Wednesday, 8 p.m., at Penn State Berks.
